Founder review pending. This draft describes the website as built. Hosting and email service details, retention practices, and applicable privacy requirements must be confirmed before public launch.
What this notice covers
This notice covers the Kinship Labs public website at kinship-labs.com. It does not describe data handling inside Gather or any other product.
Browsing the website
You can browse this website without an account. The website code includes no analytics, advertising trackers, contact forms, or embedded third-party media. It does not set cookies or use browser storage.
Delivering a page still involves a connection to a hosting service. That service may process technical request information, such as an IP address, browser information, the requested page, and the time of the request, to deliver and protect the site. The selected host, enabled features, and any logging or retention practices need to be confirmed before publication.
When you email us
The contact links open your email application. Sending a message shares your email address and whatever information you include with Kinship Labs so we can respond to your inquiry. Please include only what is needed to explain your question.
Email is handled by your email provider and our receiving email provider. Our provider, who can access messages, and how long correspondence is retained must be confirmed before publication. This website does not submit a message unless you choose to send an email.
Links to other websites
When you follow an external link, the destination website’s own privacy information applies. This includes visiting our GitHub organization.
Gather has a separate privacy scope
Gather is a household grocery-list application in development and private testing. It includes account authentication, shared households, offline operation, and synchronization through Supabase. Those features have data-handling considerations beyond this public website.
This page is not a publication-ready privacy policy for Gather. A separate product notice must be checked against the actual app and services before public release. That notice needs to explain:
- Which account, household, list, invitation, and category-preference data is handled, and why.
- What is stored on a device, what is synchronized, and what other household members can see.
- Which service providers receive data, where it is processed, and how long it is kept.
- How account recovery, leaving a household, and account or data deletion work.
- Who the product is intended for and how people can exercise applicable privacy rights.
For questions about Gather during testing, contact support@kinship-labs.com.
